With Grandmas Purse, we aim to pay for entrance/sign up fees for youth sports and other youth activities that will engage and empower children. These families are referred to us when the parents/guardians are not financially able to pay the fees.

Our youth need to learn and advance skills, provide better focus and manners, learn to be a part of a team, and gain access to mentors and positive role models. Many families cannot afford to send their children to these activities on their own. Children need these engagements to grow and flourish.

Grandmas Purse aims to help children and families have Christmas when unforeseen circumstances arise and the family just cannot handle providing Christmas. These families we help would not likely ASK for help. Someone else nominates them for this assistance. We then check into the situation and find out what is needed and wanted. And...Sometimes it goes beyond a couple presents...It is case by case.
